Is he supposed to be a Super Soldier?
Why then does he use a Shield?
If he is a Super Soldier, Iron Man is a Super General!
Captain Idiot is only good at giving orders, and you'll see that in "The Avengers" Movie!
Hiding behind a Shield: what a Great Super Power!
He is easily replacable by many other real Super Heroes who have the same and even better Powers like Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, War Machine, Superman;
moreover, I would prefer a Super Hero with a specific Super Power as Spiderman (Agility) or Flash (Speed) rather than Captain Clown!
Furthermore, he is the result of an Experiment, so he didn't acquire his Super Powers by himself...
He is just another Symbol of the Capitalism: indeed, he was created in the 40s, during the WWII (Fancy that!)...
He is NOTHING compared to Tony Stark/Iron Man!
And he should thank Stark family for being the WWII Super Soldier, as Tony's father Howard Stark made the Experiment!
Also, who could provide him the best Weapons?
The Stark Industries, of course!
The Super Soldier...don't make me laugh!
The Super "Epic Fail"!
Do you think Spidey and Flash made themselves or choose to be bitten by radioactive spider or stricken by lightning and chemicals? Your post shows you're mistaking comicbook continuity and that you take the movie's as hard truth. It's not.
I'll stop right here and just add that evey character, when well written and nicely psychologically detailed, has real interest. Captain America as a concept is simply one of the best, and many stories about him as a solo hero lost in our time and with his adventures as the Avengers leader proves that! Why would a God of Thunder and an armored billionnaire would follow him to the ends of Earth if he wasn't the greatest warrior and inspiring icon he truly is!?
Read more, learn your facts, be moderate in the way you speak here and then come back!
If he is supposed to use it as a Boomerang, why don't wield a Boomerang, then?
So, in the end, he needs it; and without it, he is not good as well... Neither without the Super Soldier Experiment!
What about a Modern Super Soldier, then? He is just Old Story! He can't neither fly, unlike Iron Man and War Machine!
Then, you're saying I made an ignorant Comment...
Do you know, then, when was born Captain Inspiring Icon? During the WWII, as just another symbol of the USA and their Capitalism, as a Propaganda!
And Comics are Fantastic, while Movies give a more Realistic Version of them! So they count as well!
Moreover, what about the Lt. Col. Jim Rhodes? He has even an higher Rank than Captain Greatest Warrior!
If the other Superheroes follow his orders, it is just to show how the reality works: the America holds its Supremacy over the other Countries!
So, don't tell me to learn more...
